The Phalanx can tow up to 20 cargo cannisters (paired up), with each being able to carry up to 75 tons, giving the ship a total cargo capacity of 1600 tons, more cargo than the popular Python transport. What also makes this ship unique is the fact that it doesn't require an additional drive unit at the rear, so cargo pod dropoffs can be made in a very tight timeframe. The Phalanx was specifically designed to thread the needle for hyperportals and has become quite popular as a hyperportal transport. |
