Description	It is believed that only around 20 Pel'En Ka motherships/carriers have ever been produced, all of which are currently in service, and that 10 of those were built by the Dilern Regime (DR) prior to departing the LMC. For a galactic power based mainly on a race that tends to be lacking in technological understanding, the Pel'En Ka is truly a technological marvel. Especially with regards to the fact that the entire vessel is built in such a modular way to allow, and even encourage, the constant periodic replacement and update of various modules. The Pel'En Ka should be considered a carrier rather than a mothership as it´s main focus is to: quick lunch, support, repair and maintain smaller combat vessels, from fighters to large cruisers. Its cargo space is therefore mainly allocated to lunch bays and hangars. The DR has never allowed a Pel'En Ka to be captured and has in a few instances made huge sacrifices to allow for their escape from battles lost.
