The Empire created the crab-cather to salvage ships that had been rendered inoperative after space battles inside star systems. This ship can tow (push) ships up to 5000 tons in NLS. It can also carry up to 2600 ton ships into hyperspace (At half its full range). Most governments use this craft for spacecraft salvage, except maybe Utopia who much prefer their newer design, the Deadalus. |
