This weapon is called Acal Force Focuser and it has no capabilities on its own but rather it allows Acal Masters (Selaren in particular) to use their own Form Energy and Focus Energy powers against other ships.

The weapon can fire in two modes, either as a beam weapon when using focus energy or as a missile weapon when using form energy. This is shown as two separate weapons here.

The acal master who is firing the weapon can use either ability and must succeed an average check of the skill in order to fire (if skill is above 100% no check is necessary). If skill check success is above challenging (-50%) the GM may award additional damage to the attack.

Each attack expends 2 EP.

A single Selaren gunner can simultaneously fire multiple weapons using the same configuration at a single target (or multiple targets based on success at the GM's discretion).
